India Daley
India Daley, who works under the name Aloe, is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in videography and music. Her practice explores how culture and media shape one another, often through a blend of documentary and experimental storytelling. India is really drawn to capturing moments that feel honest and grounded, while still engaging with larger cultural narratives. India’s work is influenced by the melodic and atmospheric sound of artists like Nia Archives and Bladee, as well as films such as Creep and Rye Lane, which embrace a sense of simplicity and emotional closeness. She’s also really inspired by the visual depth and expressive storytelling of I Saw the TV Glow, particularly its ability to hold beauty and heaviness at the same time.
Isa Reyes
Isa Reyes, born and raised in New York City, is a multidisciplinary artist and musician who builds sonic worlds that strive to connect, heal, and empower others through the vulnerability of storytelling. Through their unique atmospheric blend of genres, they take listeners on a journey that explores themes of grief, love, memory, identity, and survival. Through all forms of their art, Isa strives to pay homage to the places they’ve found home in and create a world where listeners feel less alone.
Kaya Middleton-Grant
Kaya Middleton-Grant is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose work centers on storytelling, self-expression, and social impact. Her songwriting serves as a creative anchor, shaped in part by her transformative experience with Willie Mae’s programs, where she deepened her musicianship and embraced collaborative music-making. She began studying piano in elementary school, later taught herself more instruments, and in high school she developed skills in music production. As a lead singer in the band My Neighbor George, she toured the East Coast in 2024. Kaya continues to grow as a singer-songwriter and producer, committed to using sound as a means of connection, expression, and impact.

Aadi is an arts management student at SUNY Purchase with a passion for music that transcends genres. Under the bold and unforgettable moniker “pretentiouspissbaby,” she crafts a sound that fuses the raw energy of alternative rock and shoegaze with the experimental textures of ambient and noise music. Her work explores the messy, emotional terrain of coming of age—equal parts angst, vulnerability, and rebellion. Aadi is also a proud alum of Willie Mae Rock Camp, where she’s been a deeply involved participant in the Digital Mentorship program, and most recently, as a summer assistant in 2024.

Born and raised in the Norwood section of the Bronx, Carys “Cabø” Dixon is nurtured by the sounds that surround her. Growing up, Carys knew her passion for music was unordinary. Learning piano at the age of three skyrocketed her musical abilities as an instrumentalist, which led her to later pursue guitar, bass, and the drums. In 2017, Carys decided to shift gears and focus more on the music production scene. With influences from various creatives, Carys began creating her own sound that merges R&B, alternative, rock, and hip-hop.
An alumni of Willie Mae Rock Camp’s in-school programming, Carys was a fellow during our first Alumni Fellowship. In April 2024, Carys debuted a new, recorded work composed over the course of the fellowship that combined her unique style with quadraphonic and spatial audio techniques. This evening was hosted in partnership with the CT::SWaM ExChange, a monthly meet-up and listening session at the Fridman Gallery Media Room focused on multi-channel works and spatial sound.
